There is another sweeping generalization going on here and it is that black people are oppressed and experiencing systemic racism.
There is no "systemic" racism. The "system" by design is supposed to be color-blind. One system for everyone regardless of race.

The only time the "system" recognizes race is when said race gets special privileges like affirmative action, anti-discrimination laws, and programs designed to help disadvantaged minorities.

People love saying that "systemic racism" exists when they don't know WTF they're talking about. Perhaps they mean "pervasive" or "insidious," but that's outside of the "system."
