Re -- I do like cpq getting intel chips at bargain now.

Do you know what the agreement is? $100mil a year for 8 years is peanuts to Intel however it may be a big deal to CPQ which is bigger in size but not in substance.

Furthermore, if the FTC does not allow the Intel/DEC agreement, CPQ will be left with a huge factory it doesn't know how to run and a lawsuit against Intel which could go on for years!!!

Intel could then not give cpq the sweet deals they give them now, and CPQ could wind up with higher prices!!!

Just one more factor in the DEC/CPQ merger, to keep the Stock "channeling" forever.

Yup, looks like the risks are mounting!!!
