Wharfie,
I wouldn't be surprised, but I hope the kids manage to put a dent in it.
That's what I hoped after the 1992 L.A. Riots.

I remember waking up one morning to a bunch of racist graffiti spraypainted all around my neighborhood. I was in Irvine at the time, and I was thinking,

"Gee, it's been how many years since public schools have been increasing their multiculturalism?

"How many years since we've been trying to stop the hate and spread the love?

"How many years since Rodney King and all that stuff about teaching kids about racism bad discrimination bad?

"Who taught these punks how to be racist?"

This was before Orange Man, of course.

That's when I realized that racism will never go away. It's as natural as sin itself.

Best way to deal with it is to overcome it, not eliminate it.
