Thean, Give it another week and i think the trend will clearly be sideways.I think the 10% down/day days are pretty much few and far between for now on.Gotta be nimble tho! dave

Thean - He is referring to the board where P engr posts, not the free one. They probably do a 100 - 200 posts a day over there. I read both boards and I would say that at present AOL has more fundamental information type posts and more pissing contests, while the SI board has more technical, short term trading discussions. Both are very valuable. I'd say there is about a 20 - 40% overlap on news. Carl

Sorry, watching the State of the Union....I've never seen a longer agenda list in my life. Guess trying to keep everyone happy.... I think good 'ol SI is the best set of threads going. I've read around guite a bit and SI has more intelligent posts and a whole lot less personal attacks. I don't generally mess with AOL - have trouble getting in there even with 5+ T1's to the net backbone. Reached the point of diminishing returns. I also believe PEngr posts in an area you need to pay for. I'd like to get him to call this thread home! I like looking around at other spots but always come back to SI. Thanks to ALL! I've been working on some ideas for this thread but am not ready just yet. Need to talk to SI guys first. Rob
