I have a good little tripod but it's lightweight. The Nikon P900 is heavy enough, when I have the tripod tilted
way up at the moon, it wants to 'drift' a little. And yes on the need for stability with videos too. Also on
time-lapse weather things. A guy I know who owns way too many cameras loaned the Nikon to me, hoping I'd buy it.
I might, haven't decided for sure yet.
However, here's a place that rents out all kinds of cameras, with an option to buy. I would have used them
if this guy hadn't offered.. lensrentals.com
