Chicago open parks and lakefront for protesters but not the people. Chicago Opening Grant Park and Union Park For Protesters To Gather This Weekend CBS2-TV (Chicago), by Staff Original Article Grant Park and Union Park will be designated spots for demonstrators to gather this weekend, as part of a plan announced by Mayor Lori Lightfoot Friday. But Chicago just entered Phase 3 of the governor’s reopen plan, and groups of 10 or more are still prohibited. Or are they?
