Nancy~I have found the Netscape 4.04 to be far superior, and my computer is MUCH older than yours. Don't give up. Perhaps try installing the Communicator Standard Version instead of fanciest. The 32 bit makes all this java and html stuff well worth it. Even improves e-mail.

Thanks Nancy. I'll take a look at it. Most of my bank trades in the past year have been WFC and CCI, and lately WAMU.

I'm finding I do better with my trades if I stay away from tech stocks (sorry Kevin).

Hi Nancy, just installed 4.04 and very pleased with it... off loaded it to a 486 25 and it runs well enough on that machine. Too bad there isn't a way to just run the browser on a slower processor without having to have the overhead of Windows... that way I could give away some of my older computers as internet terminals.

I'd certainly download the newest version and give it a try, the download takes a little over an hour with normal line traffic.
