Had they listened to Trump at first when he suggested "injecting disinfectant and shining light internally" it may have saver many lives like it did in other countries. Trump says all kind of random things. The Trump supporters superimpose whatever patterns they want. Often in hindsight. In case of HCQ, there is some merit. But as Fauci said, so far the proof is anecdotal. Lancet study was not a good study, and the data collection was mysterious. The standards of respected journals have definitely fallen to allow such study to be published. That WHO trusted the study, implies they have too many bureacrats and few real scientists at the top. Other success stories on HCQ so far have not been double blind etc. Hopefully, HCQ works. That will be a low cost solution for sure. -Arun
