I have been following the HCQ issue before Trump spoke about it. Trump speaking about it or not is irrelevant. There were hospitals and countries using HCQ all along, before Trump said it and after. Even in left wing democrat states (for e.g Mount Sinai in New York). Unless a large enough double blind study with good measurement is available, we don't know for sure. Might as well have taken Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and zinc, which have some anti-viral effect too. -Arun
