MIK. After I posted I saw the stock continue to rise. In fact the stock continued to rise today over 50%. That quick rise has turned out to be too much one-day gain for me to stomach without taking at least some off the table on the rise today.

It was a good quarter for MIK. Plus a competitor is closing down, according to JP Morgan who raised their target price today on MIK to $13 from $7. We shall see.

Yeah, INN-D, you would have had a 100% gain or more. Woulda, coulda, didnt. I know that story well.

I told my wife at the end of march i thought we would do ok but it might take two years. thats the reality of value investing you dont know when mr. market will start to see it your way or whether you are just plain wrong.. Looks like a lot of my stuff is consolidating today,. Some of the upswings and downswings have been just remarkable. I still think there will be a lot of money thats on the sidelines coming in from the cold of 1% savings to get back into the market. No doubt this will seem callous but I dont think we are going backward from reopening. the republican governors if arizona is any indication, seem to accept that hospitals may get overwhelmed and deaths may rise a bit. I think the sharp upswing in the market is reflecting that. I pretty much am just holding to everything i bought.

I am still. Small % in the red for the year, so I have underperformed. Took a flyer on some real crap stocks like KTB recently which made like 50% in a week. Crazy.

Stock market is partying like 1999 with an economy worse than 2001. It makes no sense to me, but it is what it is. I expect volatile to come back and we get some >20% crashes, perhaps several of the,. Marc Cohodes, the infamous short seller said on Twitter that the stock market right now is like a pig on LSD.
