Backseat Driver...

>>>BTW are you aware of the last POW pick on dec 2 97 of AMVC at 2 1/4 ...and that it has NEVER since the recommended date been above that price? and that as of today the price has seen 1 3/4?? Im sure you can do the math...look at the chart and go back and find the pick and when it was posted ..it is all factual...this pick is pretty much being ignored now that it is weakening by the day,,,,sure hope you didnt avg down on it. two of garbage is still garbage.<<<

Jeff:

Doug's record speaks for itself... He has been unselfish in sharing his ideas....

All I've seen from you is 20/20 hindsight... Why not use your extensive TA skills to make positive contributions to the SI threads... Tell us what stocks you personally like on the Long and Short side... That's how credibility is established... Otherwise, your posts come across as childish attempts to get some attention...

Your positive contributions would be appreciated...

Jim

Lazar,
On second thought I will answer your post more completely. I have been on the 56 thread for many months now. I was in boscf with Mr Butcher, and we had many conversations on the thread. It was my decsion to buy boscf, after I read all the work done on it, no one elses, same as Mr. Butcher. I have had several picks that I have done very well on with all the FA/TA from the team. I didnt do well on boscf, but if I would have given it more time, I could have got out without a loss. It was my decsion to buy it, and my descion to sell it at a loss.....Im over it!!
No, I didnt get into the AMVC pow, I choose not too....If you choose to get into it using the expertise from the thread, then you need to choose what you want to do with it now. You can not blame others for your descions!
BTW/ I have a bird named PITA, too.....my apologies to Mr.Butcher

Sandra

lazar921:

I have read each of your many posts on the 56 threads. You are obviously an intelligent person who enjoys the same exercise that many of us on SI do. Stock research and trying to make money. I would like to see you put some postive suggestions on your stock picks on the line so that we can all gain from your efforts. Yes, a lot of us lost money an AMVC. But we sold it and moved on.

I really would like to see your positive side because I sense you have something worthwhile to contribute here, more worthwhile than casting old stones over and over.

Jeff,

I took a loss on AMVC too. I suppose I should post a laboriously sour message to myself. My last 10 trades have more than made up for it though. All of them were/are profitable and all of them are on this thread....from DIGL (19 7/8 to 23 in 3 hrs) and ACRT (23 to 25) to RADAF (both short and long), ABTX (short), PLXS (long), APCO (not large yet), GTAX, DCTC (17% on Mon. but I'm still in after a bit of a down day today) to BMC and others. Some "suggestions" and others that were found by contributors using methods I have taught here and in person were turned into profit by thread participators although I did not move on them. Before you type you should get a little more background as to what you are saying. I agree that AMVC and others were not good choices but this thread is on the "Short-term Traders" forum and NOW...today is here.
