Alex, as always you get the gem finders award. Maybe the reason gold jump $9 on Friday, a seeming over-reaction to Slick's latest sexual exploits, has more to do with fears about Rubin than with Slick.

Alex, Frightening article on derivatives .... I thought that they were part of the reason for the US bail out, but did not fully appreciate the magnitude of the problem. If this situation unwinds, the S&*t will hit the fan. MB

Alex: Is that the new style Cold War? or would you think this could start a war over the people involved who lost billions of $ for there country? The only ones who suffer are the people at the other end of the world who cannot become a part of the big money deals IMO. This one will take 20 years to dig out from if it's all truth. What do you think will take place with the POG from the nations that have little yet lost big time?
