As much as I would like to believe the president was plugging AFFX in the State of the Union address, I'm sure he meant 'gene chip' generic, not 'GeneChip' AFFX.

This board has been v. quiet lately. No moans over the recent price slide, no encouraging words. Where is everyone?

I heard Clinton say the genechip will be a diagnostic tool in every doctor's office in 10 years. Maybe this will give AFFX a boost tomorrow.

Maybe Clinton can get a job as a stock analayst if he gets laid off. Something lit a fire under this stock today; up $2 1/2 at the close!
