Respond to of 1574199 ""The actions of a few are dividing us as a nation," Jacobs said of Floyd's death. "We will never solve generational systemic injustice with looting burning, destruction of property and killing in the name of justice." "When those in a position of authority choose to abuse their power, that is a very definition of oppression. And when innocent people are harmed in the name of justice, no one prevails. We all lose," she added. "Police brutality of any kind should not be condoned, however, it is blatantly wrong to create an excuse out of discrimination and disparity to loot and burn our communities, to kill our officers of the law." " Well said Ms Jacobs. What has largely contributed to problems within the African American populations, especially those at the lower end of the salary table, are the MINIMUM WAGE AND THE POOR STANDARD OF EDUCATION PROVIDED BY GOVERNMENT. Much of why that is the case can be discovered by listening to what the likes of Professor Milton Friedman and very erudite and informed African American Economist, Thomas Sowell, have to say on those aspects ....VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO One thing about "SOCIALISTS", and that would certainly include MANY OF THE UPPER ECHELON OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY "ELITE" OF TODAY, is that they are very good at "Spinning a Yarn" that will Divide and Deprive the more IMPOVERISHED IN A SOCIETY. In that way they can then come forward on their "White(?) Horses", to the rescue, AND OFFER THEIR BRAND OF A SOLUTION, ..... AT ELECTION TIME. Once the Election has passed, and they've gained what they wanted to gain, namely the votes of the gullible impoverished voters, they "ride off into the sunset" to Martha's Vineyard, Hollywood, or wherever, and leave the IMPOVERISHED to get on with it ..... as one can clearly see in good examples such as in "decayed" Baltimore which has been under DEMOCRATIC PARTY control for DECADES !!! The last Republican Mayor in Baltimore was T.R. McKeldin in 1967 .... 53 YEARS AGO !!! AND YET .... THE ONGOING, IMPOVERISHED POPULACE OF BALTIMORE KEEP VOTING IN THESE USELESS DEMOCRATS !!! .... They seem to keep thinking that if someone keeps doing the same BAD ACTIONS, THAT NEXT TIME IT WILL BE DIFFERENT !!!! When there was no minimum wage young Americans with little training and experience of any kind, including young African Americans, could get a job even at a low wage. But that would enable them to gain on-the-job experience and allow them to eventually "move up the ladder" and improve their lots. Better education also contributed positively in that regard. When a medium sized business employer is faced with a COMPULSORY MINIMUM WAGE he cannot always employ the same number of employees as he did before. He then looks for more qualified individuals plus he also does more "mechanizing" where possible. Either way, poor young Americans will lose out. They will then seek other ways to make a few dollars per day, and that's often when they get involved with gangs and crime.
