This stock looks unique. I checked the product sales at Computer City and Best Buy in Deerfield, IL. The shelves were empty for some of the product lines and attendants at both stores gave me the same impression. The sales are fantastic, the product is better than Iomega and they cannot keep the shelves stocked.

I have heard good advertising on the radio as well. I did some checking on the web and found two interesting stories. First, on silicon investor (http://www.individualinvestor.com). This article is from 10/97 and reviews recent changes in management at Syquest - the changes looked good to me - check it out.

The second bit of information comes from Stock Market Pro (http://www.stocksmartpro.com/index.html). You can join for a free 10 day test drive. If you poke around enough you will find a summary of institutional and mutual fund investors. Some data is pasted below. The accumulation by professionals looks great. The names are better yet - Soros fund manangement, LLC! Check the site out and see for yourself.

Finally, it looks like the stock is settling out today. Instead of a downtrend ending with a quick up-tick. The stock is going sideways all day. Could it be the bottom? I hope.

Good luck to all!

Rick
