I have some Feb 22.5s with a little profit and have been planning my exit. The best I have come up with is selling some prior to launch, say enough to get my money back, and letting the rest ride what ever comes along.

This option trading is a lot more like gambling than investing. I saw the Feb calls as a good one time shot because, as you said, volatility has not been factored into the time value when we know there are fundamental reasons for volatility to increase. In fact, the options dealers have taken most of the time value out of the Feb in the money calls to reduce their closing losses.
