What our founders said and what they did were not the same thing. For example, Washington and Adams were Federalists who hated Jeffersonian Democrats. They belonged to political parties from day one. As for the gop, they can say all kinds of things, you know, like "repeal and replace" and "balance the budget" but they also fail at everything they do. We balanced the budget and we passed the ACA. They have nothing to offer us other than endless debt, lies, and failure. All we need to do is expose them. It's easy.
