Dr Watergy, my experience is enuff to teach me that the world does not want to conserve energy, save water, etc. They just want to do water treatment as they have done since WWII days. In developing the chemistry that our company sells we spent 3 years using it in cooling water treatment and boiler water treatment. We originated in the protective coatings business and now center our efforts there, but had to do the other to learn more about our own product. As for Calgon, I never have figured them to be a major influence. Jim J
