Ron~

that was about the funniest story I have read
In quite some time. :)

It’s funny some of the stuff that kids discover
When left to explore or experiment.

I remember once when my younger brother
was maybe 8 years old,
he came to me and asked if I wanted to see
something pretty cool.

We went out to the living room
and he stood in the middle of the room
holding a piece of string with
a day-glo coloured eraser - I think it was lime green
tied to the end of it.

He started swinging it in fast circles close to the ceiling,
like spinning a lariat.
In no time, a house fly flew at it
and stuck to it the whole time the eraser was spinning.

He repeated it a few times and it happened each time.
He said he had tried other coloured erasers,,
but it only worked with that one colour.

I’m listening to all of this and thinking,
how in the hell did he even discover this
and then figure out about the different
coloured erasers?

My brother is like that.
Very observant and discovers odd phenomena
and always figuring things out.
I love curious minds.
I’m glad to have such a brother.
