it's a way to own SMOD for 25% margin. selling the aptril 4 put for 12 and buying the april 30 put for 4 . means you only need to send your broker 2 dollrs a share for margin. you have limited risk and you profit as the stk goes to 40. get mcmillan book on options. margin s calculated by 10 minus (sell put price- buy put price) So far 10k you can buy the rights to 28,000 of stk. if it goes down you are protected. if it goes to 40 by april you keep 40,000 profit. if it doesn't then you can roll out and lose only commission.
