><>...The Unforgivable Sin.....as it relates to end times..><>
Hi bobby, here is what I said I would post.

Father I pray that we know only "your" truths father, help us in the name of our Lord Jesus..

The unforgivable sin OR blasphemy of the Holy Spirit as taught by our Lord Jesus in Luke 12:10

Luke 12:10
10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven.

So here is where Jesus teaches that it is a sin so abominable that it will not be forgiven.....Astounding.!

Then in Luke 12:11-12... Jesus Himself teaches what that sin is.
Luke 12:11-12
11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12 For the Holy Spiritt shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

"what ye ought to say"......Now therin lies the answer...hold on to that

Our Lord also warns us in Mark 13:9

Mark 13:9
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

The above scripture contains almost the same words as in Luke 12:11...

In Mark 13, our Lord is teaching as to what it will be like just before His return and what we should be watching for.....

In Luke 12:10 Jesus teaches that there is an unforgivable sin and in Luke 12:11- 12 He explains that sin......It is very tied in to end times...

"when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers..what powers?.What synagogues?..What magistrates?........Jesus warns...don't even think about what you are going to say...To who?...because...V12...the HS will teach you in that same hr. what you should say....What hour?

Remember the day of Pentacost, the 120 apostles and followers, that was probably the entire church up to the time that the HS spoke through them...and then 1000's were converted by this miracle of God....Also note that Peter reminded those present that what they were experiencing was what the prophet Joel spoke of.....and the prophet Joel was speaking of "end Times"....as quoted by Peter.."It shall come to pass in the "last days" Saith God...I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh...and your sons and daughter shall prophesy (teach)....now go back to Mark 13:10...and the gospel must first be published among all nations....this happens right after V9. and the people of God have been delivered up to give atestimony against rulers and kings...for the sake of Jesus..

So what testimony do the people of God give?... to what powers?... and for what reason?....

The testimony will be thewords of the Holy Spirit. This is where the "gospel must first go forth"( As it did on the day of Pentacost)....first before what?....first before the return of our Lord.!
God will use His people, as He did the 120, to deliver a message to those powers who are against God.

The powers are those powers who will be in that day, doing the work of satan...when satan comes as the antichrist...Disguised as Jesus.

In Conclusion the unforgivable sin is "Not allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through us if we are called upon by God to give a testimony against them for the sake of our Lord Jesus"......When the antichrist has appeared....Now we can understand why it is so "unforgivable".

IF.... the 120 refused to do as Jesus said....and did not wait for the HS or decided to use their own words....the 120 might have been to this day the only ones who would ever be christians.....It would not have been "noised" abroad...

How is it likely to happen?

In those days at the appearence of satan as Jesus.....those of us who know that it is satan and not Jesus, will be called upon by satan and wined and dined,,so to speak...( we will be delivered up..Luke 12:11)

How will we be delivered up....our own families will do it, our friends...Mark 13:12
Why would they do such a thing...our own precious loved ones?...Because we shall refuse to worship this one who calls himself the Messiah....because we will know that he is satan in disguise...saying he is God, standing in the temple (synagogue) of God, 2 Thess.2 :4...and our families will go to this one and say something like...Oh Jesus, my brother, mother, sister, daughter or son, whatever the case might be,.."really loves you Lord, but they are confused...they don't know it is really you."...Or words to that effect..
And don't let the words" deliver you up to death" scare you..because "Death" is just another name for satan...

Whereby these "trials" shall be televised and when those who are delivered up will speak the words that the HS gives....and all the world will hear that testimony in their own" tongue" (chineese, french, german, italian, spanish, etc, etc), and when this is "noised" abroad...thousands will believe, and know the truth....so for the same purpose as on Pentacost day...so shall this happen again in 'end times"....

You say, "Televised"..why would they be televised?...They will be televised because when satan does appear as Jesus it will be "HEADLINES"..world wide...That "'JESUS HAS RETURNED"!!
Camera crews from all over the globe will be There!

That is also how the "Whole World"will see the dead bodies of the "two witnesses" of God..Rev.11:8

And so the gospel must first be published to all nations...
...
Pretty awesome right.?..And it iis written...plus much more.!
And don't take my word for it...study for yourself..

Always open for discussion ....in the light of the Gospel
Love in our precious Lord Jesus
Shalom....><>

><>.Tongues. as it realtes to the unforgivable sin & end times><>.

I would like to preface this study with just a few notes....

1.I know that this is a sensitive and somewhat controversial issue within the church. I am also aware of the kinds of things that are said by those outside of the church...My concern and focus, for purposes of this study, is for those within the church..."Believers and followers" of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2.I also know that there are many loving people here in this forum, and else where around the world who say they speak in "tongues"......I used to..!

3.This study is "Not" my opinion...It is the word of God, taken to a depth that possibly many have not considered.

4.The purpose of this posting is only to arouse, in all who follow it, a deeper desire to know more of God's word.
And
5.That after much study by all we can discuss it in a way that is favorable to the word of God..and through it all bring Him glory...

Father I pray in the name of our precious Lord Jesus that your truths may be revealed to all of us...thank you

In Acts 2, on the day of Pentacost when the Holy Spirit descended on the 120, they spoke in all languages....and all of those who were present from all parts of the world "Understood" the 120 in their own native tongue....There was no interpreter for no interpreter was needed..

Acts 2:7-12
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Peoples from all over the world "Understood" them in their own language....This was a miracle of God...the HS spoke through these 120 to thousands of people in their own language. The languages of the world all present there at that time.....That is what Cloven means..to go out in many directions...

Peter explaind to them that "this was that which was spoken by the prophet Joel....so we need to go to the prophet Joel to understand it also....
Joel 2:28-29
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Joel was speaking of end times......Prophesy# 5012 Strongs... In the Hebrew...to speak or sing by inspiration...under the anointing..to in effect teach....I would suggest at this time that you read all of Joel 2..
It teaches specifically of the return of our Lord...

Now when Peter said "this is that".....what he was saying was.....this is an example of what Joel spoke of....an example, a taste of what is to come....

Remember what sets this event apart from what is spoken today is some circles and churches is that all of what they spoke was understood by all languages at the same time...with No interpreter...

Imagine yourself sitting at a United Nations conference and the representative from Zaire stood up and gave his speach in his native African tongue....and All who were present from all over the world "understood" him as though he were speaking in their native tongue........No Interpreters needed.;........The Italians heard it in Italian, the Germans in German, the French in French, the English in English, and so on.....you get the picture?...Pretty Awesome....

So that is what took place on the day of Pentacost....."Cloven Tongues"....a literal Language understood by all who heard it....In their own language...no interpreters needed...A miracle of God.....and for a very good purpose...

TONGUES..as spoken of by Paul in 1 Cor. 14....

First you must notice that the word "unknown" is in italics which means it was inserted later ....it was not in the manuscripts...

1 Cor 14:1-4
1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

Remember "Unknown" is not supposed to be there....

Paul is teaching that if one teaches in a "foreign language" no one will understand him but God......If an English only speaking preacher goes to Mexico and teaches in english.... no one will understand him, but God.

Paul himself spoke in many languages, Hebrew, Greek, Italian, Chaldee...and some others as well...so in V5..he says .(.Paraphrasing)
yes , sure it would be good if you could speak in different languages I wish you could..but don't worry about speaking in diff. languages...it not the greates thing...just teach..that is the greatest thing..and in any case if you don't have an interpreter with you...than it is for naught
You are just blowing wind...not in harmony...sounds awful...like instruments that just clang..and clong...

V9..so also is teaching..if no one understands what you are even saying
V10..there are many diff. languages in the world and all have their own place....meaning
V11 so if I don't understand them and they don't understand me..then what is the good
V12..so out of all the gifts that you seek ..seek that you may teach those within the church....
V13 make it plain so that you can be easily understood..also pray that you may interpret what you are saying...
V.14..& 15..for if I pray in a foreign language..but am not sure what I am praying..then it is "UNfruitful...so he is saying don't just learn a foreign language to learn it...learn it so that you may also interpret it and be fruitful...in the understanding..so that you may also edify the church..
v.16..because if you are praying in Italian to an english audience they will not even know when to say Amen!
V17..you will be able to say thank you God...but they won't
V18..I thank God that I can speak more than 1 language
V19..Yet..I would rather speakonly 5 words that you can understand than to blow you away with my foreign languages...and teach 10,000 words none of which you can understand...
V20....so please be mature
V21...read what God has said in Isaiah 28 starting at V.9..about how God will give Stammering lips to those who will not read the word of God precept uopn precept....
V22...Now Paul tells them again of Pentacost day..and the happennings there and the purpose for the miracle of God at that time
V.23...again he reminds them of speaking in a foreign language and the trouble it van cause if those hearing it cannot understand it
V,24..& 25 but if he can understand it thn he can judge it and accept it..
............
Now the interpretation...Which is also a gift...we have all seen some preachers at one time or another preach the gospel in another part of the world...and the interpreter....is giving the preaching the same kind of connotations and body language as the preacher intend to convey.. for ex..if the preacher is full of fire and Zeal and he says "Jesus Christ is Lord of all"...and his interpreter quitely stands there and muddles with no enthusiam..."oh yea, and did you know that Jesus is lord ?.....this is not a "Gifted" interpreted....and the message is lost.....
V.27....& 28....if there is No interpreter where a preacer is to preach in the language of the audience...then don't preach...cause they will not understand you...you might as well speak to yourself and God..

V.33..Because God is not the author of confusion.....

And there we have it my brothers....the word of God...Now what you do with it is between you and God...but before you do anything with it study it deeper and further for yourselves...

Now that day of Pentacost willcome again.....It will come again at the appearance of antichrist.....satan disguised as Jesus..and then we all will have a better understanding of why we christians... must be here for that......that is where the "unforgivable sin" comes in....Luke 12:10 ...Mark 13:9-11 and you will understand very clearly not only why God will perform this miracle again...but have a true and clear understanding of the magnitude of it's sinfullness and why it is so "unforgivable !

Have a good evening all
Shalom....><>
