That's not entirely true. I wasn't paying too much attention to liberals at the time. I was very interested in all the candidates and really only became interested in Trump towards the end. I paid special attention to Cruz and Rubio, because of my own background. I listened to everything Cruz had to say. I just didn't like him back then. He came across as angry and caustic. I think he's mellowed a bit since then and he's sharpened his message. I think the current crisis is bringing out a better leader in him. Maybe his time is coming. People change.
