U made me look up the origins of Yankee Doodle (Called it mac-Moroni).
Macaroni was a duded-up wig, apparently. :)

The term Doodle first appeared in English in the early seventeenth century [7] and is thought to be derived from the Low German dudel, meaning "playing music badly", or Dödel, meaning "fool" or "simpleton". The Macaroni wig was an extreme fashion in the 1770s and became slang for being a fop.

Here's a sunset shot my son Jon took tonight around the Austin city limits..... hmmm sounds like a tv show :) Pretty nice shot with his iPhone.
Note the sand from the Sahara is starting to show up now in more yellow/reds tones on sunsets and
sunrises.
