I believe one of the reasons the death rate is coming down some while positive test are increasing is because the medical field is improving their treatment. They are learning. Additionally they are learning what medicines do help in small ways to improve outcomes. Trial and error. What is awful though is when people use different treatments as politics. HCQ is one example - but so is wearing mask and gathering in big groups. Wearing mask does significantly help - just look at the countries who are way better at that than we are. Their numbers have declined significantly. It is not politics - it's public safety.
