My point in my response was that markets of any kind are now centrally controlled by special interests in unison with the main driver being the desire of commandeering others. Not sure if in the past indeed there where "free markets" in anything, but in your post you specifically indicate that financial markets ARE now controlled by CB's and are not fluctuating based on supply and demand or the productivity per individual worker within the workforce in a certain country. Taking an holistic approach and being knowledgeable of more than strictly one discipline I am deeply worried of the future that seems to be destroyed by human greed, idiotic nationalistic pride, and un-relented desire to control "the other" by people of low self-esteem, that only by forcing their view on others feel satisfied and more secure. In the realm of even our close universe, earth humanity is totally insignificant, but still there are those individuals that think they can radically change the world in fulfilling their own imagination by implementing their own program, unrelated if it will be good or bad for the rest of us. My personal sense is that today humanity is self-destructing in the long term with no real constructive purpose of the environment of what we call "planet earth"
