Joe Biden Isn't Scary Enough
There is more than a little anxiety coming from the suburbs of Trumpistan over the president's flailing campaign. That includes some unsolicited advice from Bush-turned-Trump-loyal-flack, Ari Fleischer, who thinks its time to dump the whole "Sleepy Joe" schtick.
Here's the dilemma: on the one hand Trump wants to portray Joe as a somnolent, decrepit, doddering dotard, but also as a dangerous, malevolent threat to the American way of life.
At some point you have to choose: senile, or Stalin? Because you really can't have it both ways.
Calling him "weak," has the same difficulties. He's either an existential threat or Grandpa Simpson.
