The UC system is trying to represent the diversity of the state.
If they want to do that with the CalState system, that's fine by me, but the UC system has a higher standard for academic excellence.

Compromising that in favor of racial quotas is terrible policy. You might as well put up a sign saying, "No more Asians, please. We're full."
