Tenchu's Thoughts: Going Fuller Retard (follow-up)

From CNN: Bubba Wallace responds to FBI findings: 'Whether tied in 2019, or whatever, it was a noose'

Elsewhere on the web: Bubba Wallace Unloads in CNN Interview After FBI Concludes Hate Crime Investigation: ‘I’m Pissed…People Are Trying to Test My Character’

Well gee, let's examine that question more closely, shall we?

Why SHOULDN'T we doubt your character, Bubba?

Bubba Who?

After all, I never heard of you until the news that NASCAR was banning the Confederate flag at their races. You were introduced as the only black racer in the circuit, and I'm thinking, "Wait, NASCAR has a black racer?"

OK, that's cool. It's nice to see a bit of diversity in NASCAR. After the sexy Danica Patrick retired, NASCAR needed something to draw in viewers outside of its usual southern moonshine runner demographic.

Then I heard about the "noose" incident. In this era of protests, rioting, and flared-up tensions, I originally thought it was plausible that some asshole could go into your assigned garage and hang a noose as an evil prank. Even if there were cameras going 24/7, maybe someone was able to bypass them. I don't know.

Of course, I never got to see the "noose" for myself. But that's understandable, right? After all, the media would NEVER want to broadcast photos of racism and hateful symbols, right?

That Racist Garage Door Pull

Only after the FBI concluded this investigation did I see what that "noose" really was. And it was clear to me that it was nothing more than a handle to close the garage.

But first of all, none of the mainstream media outlets dared to publish the photo. I had to go to some "fringe" sources to find it. Now that I've seen the photo, I feel duped.

Second, why did it take FIFTEEN FBI agents to come to that conclusion? Did we really need a consensus from each and every single one of them before deciding that this was NOT a hate crime? How many angles did they have to look at? How many forensic tests did they run? Did they interview each and every single person of interest, and was a thorough background check run on each one?

Because I'm pretty sure that, if I were allowed to see the photo before the FBI wrapped up its investigation, I could have come to the same conclusion they did. And that wouldn't have cost hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars.

But of course I wasn't allowed to. The media never wants us to decide for ourselves. They're already decided for us. Trust them, because they know better than us and they see things that we need not see.

Doubling Down

Now Bubba, you could have apologized for the false alarm. And I would have forgiven you for it. You could have said, "Whoops, my bad. I didn't mean to make a mountain out of a molehill. I didn't mean to trivialize the seriousness of real hate crimes that happen on a daily basis all across America. Let's move on."

But no, you don't.

Instead, you continue to insist that the garage door pull was a "noose."

Even after the FBI concluded its investigation, you immediately go onto CNN and talk to Don Lemon, the network's biggest race-baiting asshole who calls white men the "biggest terror threat in this country."

And you are desperately trying to gaslight us all.

Gee, I wonder why. Maybe it's because this, more than anything else, has helped your career in NASCAR. AFAIK, you were no better than Danica Patrick when it came to racing results, yet here you are now, the biggest "star" on the NASCAR circuit.

In short, you seem to be following in the footsteps of Colin Kaepernick:

Yes, the same Colin Kaepernick who sacrificed a 2-12 record in his final season playing in the NFL.

The same Colin Kaepernick who landed an eight digit endorsement deal with Nike AFTER he started kneeling for the national anthem.

The same Colin Kaepernick who is being hailed as a "stunning and brave" hero in the aftermath of the BLM riots.

Yeah, THAT Colin Kaepernick. The man who sacrificed nothing because he had little to sacrifice in the first place.

And you are going down the same path.

The Verdict

So go ahead, Bubba. Tell us how "pissed" you are.

Tell us how annoyed and angry you are at people who are questioning your character.

Show us your righteous indignation over "systemic racism" that exists in our nation.

The more outrage you can generate, the more you can cash in on your 15 minutes of fame.

As for me, I'm going to decide to tune you out. Your 15 minutes of fame is up. Your character has been judged, and it has been found to be wanting.
