The Learning Company is playing accounting games. The P/E may look like 9, but the massive dilution in the past year doubles it to 18 when you take it into account, as the new SEC rules require. Also, they wrote off loads of intangible assets and now have a big shareholders' deficit, like the cable TV companies. They'll have to report big future profits merely to become worthless!
