Of course a developmental biotech stock lacks earnings. It's the nature of the beast. They rise or fall on the quality of the story.
I think that post-split (maybe around the end of February) CCSI could be selling in the 12's in anticipation of the distribution announcement. That's when nervous shorts will verge on making their contribution.
And for longs distressed by those who are down on the company, note the relationship between increasing negativity and a rising stock price. There's a mysterious cause and effect going on here and you don't want to put that down.
Finally, I appreciate the spousal approach to stock analysis mentioned here. I, too, do not believe that a stock can rise if a CEO has divorced. I think that Mr. Buffet applies the same standard to his investments, and if it's good enough for Warren, it's good enough for me.
