Vet,

That is interesting. I agree with your assessment: it is nice, but cannot be counted upon to last.

Also curious is the fact that only certain stocks appear to have been effected. My only other stock under $5, MGI Pharmaceuticals (MOGN,) did not make the transition to marginability. It is hovering aroung 4.5, and is still unmarginable. I wonder what criteria they have started using to determine marginability.

FWIW I think my BROC shares have been in my margin account for at least the last four months (Discover). I always assume they put everything they can in there so it can be sold short.
