I bought my first Gateway computer a year and a half ago after I graduated from college. I bought a Gateway because my school(Purdue) had bought 50 machines for a computer lab. They are also buying machines for their office personel. My sister goes to Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Their school just put in two computer labs with Gateway machines. Remember folks, those college kids form a lot of buying habits while they are in school. Especially when they are looking at a Gateway name every day for four years. Maybe sice Compaq dominates the business that is OK, Gateway dominates the University accounts. I know that my thoughts here are not proven, but I sure saw a lot of Gateway Boxes in the cars of parents moving their kids back to school this semester at OU.
