A post on StockHouse made by Roy Carson editor of VENews would suggest (if I understand a translation posted also on StockHouse) that GLR is in definite difficulty in securing veta rights to Brisas. It is suggested by a Senator member of a sub-commission, in making a submission to the General Prosecutor of the Republic, that part of the Unicornio concession granted by Decree 1046, does also fall under Presidential Decree 1850, which is being contested before the Supreme Court. It is said 500 hectars of the Unicornio concession is within the Imataca Forest Reserve.

No wonder no news has been forthcoming from GLR management, ie. the 30 day contestation period is closed, but no comment from GLR.
