Jim - Thanks for the good article re: McGraw Hill/Bellcore.
It's really amazing how much communications text books have
improved in the last couple of years. I suspect I'll be buying
some of the McGraw/Bellcore books for reference.

It appears my telco education as ended for now. This semster
I had planned to take my final course, Data Communications Systems
Applications and Configurations, at the Bell Atlantic lab at the
local community college. The course was going to be taught by the
Baltimore BA Alarm manager. I've taken other courses from him,
and he's good. He came up through the ranks and obviously enjoys
teaching telco. The course was cancelled again... I think the
prerequisites are pretty strict and it's tough getting enough
students to have a class. The last course I took from this guy
had 8 students. I've registered for this course several times, but it's always cancelled. Guess I'll buy a student copy of MAthematica and fool around w/ math for a few months. Next Fall it's time to
learn NT networks.

Real disappointed about missing ComNet this year. ComNet gives
me the opprotunity to talk face to face w/ a lot of vendors I deal
w/ through out the year.
