Re -- so CPQ is NOW larger than Intel. Is this a true statement ?

In terms of revenue it is bigger than Intel and with the DEC acquistion it is even bigger than Intel in revenue and employees (without impending layoffs).

However it is considerably smaller than Intel in actual profits (Intel 1.7 billion vs cpq 600 mil) and market cap.

CPQ is becoming more like GM and the huge consumer companies. They have a lot of revenue, but little profits.
