It's a-mazing! that a company can spend MILLION$ on advertising a product that people cannot go down to the corner market and buy. (Not that the average Joe would want to)

A little over a year ago there was a rumor that Intel was going to build and sell a complete box. Now that they're into graphics, about all they need is a sound card and a power supply. COMPAQ, Dell, Gateway, and a lot of others may want to be ducking along with SIII somwheres not too far in the future.

<As far as the poison pill goes I doubt at this stage S3 would exercise
it if a good offer was made for the company, so JAG estimate of
250 mil. is reasonable.>

$250 million is the market cap today on the open market. I don't think that is at all reasonable. First of all, I am not just going to turn over my shares with no premium. If I wanted $5 for my shares I would sell them today ont he open market. Also, if someone tries to buy shares on the open market, it is going to cause the price to rise. Realistically, this company will not be taken over for less than $10 a share, especially when cash and Fab are worth more than $250M.
