Why is the price for private insurers in the U.S. higher? Because, O’Day said, that is how the U.S. system works. “There are always two prices in the United States for a medicine,” he said.

A classic non-answer, lol. Will anyone press him on why does the system "work" that way?

We must keep in mind that the much-touted "successful" study of remdesivir showed that it DID NOT prevent death or improve the odds against dying. It only allowed the people who were going to beat the disease anyway to go home a few days sooner (was it after 11 days in the hospital instead of 14 days for the control group?).


We need a real cure.
