I suspect Eric Sprott kick started the recent surge in the stock price. I'm not going to get too excited until Randy deals Talapoosa. It had something like a $55 million capex and an irr of 32% at $1140 gold... The current Irr should be well over 50%. The two dominant majors are rolling in extraordinary amounts of cash right now but the capex and buy out costs are still burdensome. Allegedly they are both in the running for the big expensive ksm project as well. The mid tier miners don't have enough capital to take on the project. Meanwhile the majors continue to roll in the dough that will eventually be required to take on the big mega projects...
