Regardless, how does someone living on an IBM pension afford $28k in SALT per year? Where you live most people could live on $28k/yr.

I didn't say I had to pay an extra 18K, I said I lost 18K in deductions.. By Trump's law we are only allowed 10K max deductions.......
So you used to have $28K in SALT deductions. That puts your yearly income somewhere between $140K and $280K, depending on what percentage of your income went toward various NY state and local taxes.

That places you in the top 5% income bracket in America.

You should STFU and pay your increased taxes, liberal.
