“Trump’s calls with female leaders were ‘near sadistic’” calling Germany’s Angela Merkel and the UK’s Theresa May “weak” “stupid” “spineless”.

If Theresa May was "weak," why did Trump hold onto her for dear life when walking down a flight of stairs?

* From the linked article..."In addition to Merkel and (Theresa) May, his top advisers said, Trump regularly bullied and disparaged other leaders of the western alliance during his phone conversations -- including French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison -- in the same hostile and aggressive way he discussed the coronavirus with some of America's governors.
..
The officials described Trump's behavior with Merkel in the calls as "very aggressive" and said that the circle of German officials involved in monitoring Merkel's calls with Trump has shrunk: "It's just a small circle of people who are involved and the reason, the main reason, is that they are indeed problematic. Nobody wants to deal with it."

"Meanwhile, Trump regularly bullied and demeaned the leaders of America's principal allies, especially two women: telling Theresa May she was weak and lacked courage; and telling Angela Merkel that she was "stupid."

That came from Carl Bernstein who described Trump's treatment of the two women leaders during the interview as "downright sadistic". That's a very apt description of the way Trump treats any powerful women who oppose his geopolitically ignorant rantings and ravings and his kowtowing to enemy dictators.
