A question for Roy Sardina

I want to ask you a question regarding what seems to be a belief on this board. It has to do with Brocade and the possibility of getting the supposed business of SUN. I ask you because I believe that you are not an ANCR cheerleader and will give a response that will be unbiased. Here goes the hypothetical

SUN believes that FC will be big in the coming years and is deciding between 2 switches to use with their systems. The first is made by a few buddies who use to work for the company and the other choice is made by some company in MN. The switch made by their buddies is inferior to the one by the co. in MN. Based on your experience would you choose the switch of your friends company or choose the switch that is superior pricewise and performancewise (as is assumed by this board)? (Also how close are these people at Brocade to the important decision makers at SUN anyway)

Many on this board seem to think that SUN will go with their former buddies. I feel this thinking is absolutely foolish. Why would SUN let their competitors use the switch that is superior pricewise and performancewise to help out of few ex-buddies? This isn't the government sector we are dealing with here. I truly believe that if the ANCR switch is that much superior they will get the business and if they don't it's because their switch isn't as good as believed. This kind of garbage happens with the government but not in the private sector. You don't survive in the real world by being inferior. If SUN feels that FC will contribute significantly to their growth, why would they place the welfare of a few ex colleagues above their own? I would appreciate your opinion on this.

A question for KL. You seem to have an interest in these low priced high tech stocks based on your previous post asking for input on some of your picks. What percentage of your picks do you expect to amount to anything? Also, do you concentrate on these type of stocks? My thinking is you expect a low percentage of these to succeed but the gains in them should make up for the low success rate. Am I wrong to think this?
