We all should be careful however if they have or have had near that many shares, they may also be letting this thing go up and then start again...shakes out all those buying now and on the way up from 13 or so. They can make more shorting it back down again...that's what they sometimes do...and since it hasn't really started to get back to a decent PE yet...beware.

I think the float is nearer to 9.5 million and roughly 3 million
shares were traded in the shorting action of early jan. If
we assume that the trades are roughly triple counted, we're
at about 1MM shares shorted, add that to the 300K and I think
you get close to 15%. As Dennis says, we'll know better in
a few days.
