Dr. Daisey,

The internet may not work out any better than their retail stores did.

Since when is performance important for internet stocks? It seems to me that EGGS should now be valued at 50 times their sales. Isn't that the valuation of YHOO and those other wonderful companies? EGGS' internet sales are around $47 million, or $2/share. Thus, this should be a $100 stock.

I've been looking for a new day-job, and I think I'm going to become a consultant to companies. This is what I'll be pushing: shut down your traditional businesses, and shift to sales strictly over the Internet. I'll try to recruit the automakers as my first clients, as they can afford to pay my million dollar consulting fee. (Who needs to see or test-drive cars before they buy them, anyway.)
