Finally, a move consistent with fundamental business trends. -$2 yesterday was bizarre, IMO.

$58 looks a lot more likely than $38, much less $28.

On the contrary, I think TLAB will begin an uptrend starting today. Check out LU and some of the other telecoms, they are breaking out of their downtrends across the board, and TLAB is looking to do the same. The stock is very undervalued in comparison to the rest of the sector. A good indicator is LU, TLAB and LU have very similar charts, and LU recently broke out of its downtrend. I expect TLAB to follow. The industry is looking like one of the srongest in the tech sector, with no signs of slowdown. Michael Birck (before he was cut off from his interview on Squawk Box this morning), put down the fears that TLAB was being hurt by RBOC's cutting spending. TLAB is being recommended by fund managers, I've heard a few on CNBC recommend the stock already just today. One whom I really respect the opinion of is James Cramer who had positive comments on TLAB this morning. I think there are far more positives to TLAB than negatives, that's why I am in for the longer term, starting a few days ago when the stock traded down at 46 after the downgrade.

Regards,

SH

CHIP: Well it closed above 50. Obviously, while you're worried you still have not closed your position. If you look at the Jan. 3rd. top and sequential tops, you can draw a straight line to today's top. So the move to about 51 should not have been unexpected. Obviously we may see a further resumption of the slide, or else a breakout. Two questions, however, do you have to add more money to maintain your position --- I'm really not familiar with the rules of short selling; and how do you determine at this point what the proper repuchase price is since there is support at 45 and some of your posts indicate that your expecting high 20's to low 30's?
