Rarebird, I find it hard to believe that a 70% marginal tax rate will come about with a Dem Congress. Most Senators and House Reps are multi-millionaires. They are not going to tax themselves at that rate. Of course they won't. They'll move all of their wealth into tax shelters before imposing these taxes. It always works out that way. Look at what Trump is doing: He has the Fed buying stocks, corporate bonds, you name it, to prop the market into the election. I suppose that's Ok because we profit from that. Another whataboutism.
