I agree that the company probably has better uses for cash than buying back stock. Fast growth requires a lot of capital.

But I disagree with the comment about a cash dividend. For companies with too much cash, buying back stock is a much better use for it. Both methods essentially return value to the shareholder. The difference is that dividends are taxable as income, immediately. Stock buybacks return value in the form of capital gains, which not only have a lower tax rate but also are not taxed until the stock is sold.

I'm a big fan of buybacks in general, but I would be worried if TRIBY didn't have better uses for their $1M bank balance. (Remember, the SLF asset is not spendable, and may not be for some time.)
