I pulled this off of the Yahoo message board: I spoke with John Peterson of Investor Relations today and here's the deal. In reference to the refinancing to raise capital to carry CXI through the fourth quarter of 98, Coes which had a 15 million share interest in CXI has been reducing it's interest to 11 million. This is the reason there have been many large buys at the ask without the stock moving up. This action has been going on since October and wil end in February. CXI is now very well capitalized and coes interest has dropped making CXI a very lucatrive buy. The float will increase but the stock will NOT be diluted. This action was taken to give the finaciers a 12-15% ROI. Currently CXI stake held by institutional investors is approxitmately 25% and increasing. Among the holders Dreyfuss, Scudder and several others, these companies have been accumalating. Management will be in Boston, Tuesday, all I can say is their working on deals. In talking with IR they expect to make announcements in January, that's announcements in the plural form. IR feels they will reach their intial IPO price (6 1/2)in February and will be trading at a premiunm thereafter. This is the last you'll here from me for a while and dems the facts. The final observation was this this company is strong. The coes selling will end in February and if your a buyer you need to pick and choose between then and the next announcement. My gut feeling is the selling will be over in February and shortly thereafter the announcement will be made inreference to the joint venture with Teledyne. What's been imprressive is the rate at which these shares have been accumalated. Hope I could help those that wanted to know. To the rest, if you ain't in it to win it, then get the hell out. In Short the huck-a-buck is not going to work with this stock. If you've been a long time investor, you know how far this company has come. I've been singing the praises of this company and evryone is full of self-doubts. Here is where it gets interesting, are you going to turn into a stress-monkey. Or are you going to make the right call. I'll say this, you will never make money doing what everybody else is doing. It sounds like they are indeed watching the stock, as well as promoting it. Tom
