The common shares will be delisted from the TSE at the close on Wednesday, February 4 1998. It is understood that on January 19 1998, Sands Petroleum AB served notice on the holders of the company's common shares that did not accept the share purchase offer made by the offeror dated December 2 1997, that it is exercising its right to acquire all remaining common shares not tendered pursuant to the offer. The result of this acquisition is that the offeror will own of all the outstanding common shares of the company.
