Nancy, some of my favorite verses in the Bible are the promises to Israel and Judah of fulfillment of the promised land. It dissapoints me that many on the different threads have deliberately spiritualized literal fulfillment and deny all of these beautiful promises to God's chosen people. Today, Gods promises to Abraham that his children would be a smany as the sands of the sea have came to pass, even though so many have been murdered. It is estimated that there are 25 million Jews dispursed around the world. It will be a real blessing to me to see them all return to Israel.

Jer. 33:
"14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;"

Ezek: 37:

"21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore."

I thank God and Holy Spirit for revealing the truth to us.
James

<Honestly it is better to do too much than too little>
A very excellent axiom, Nancy. Even though "we are saved by grace, and not of works, lest any man should boast" it is good to remember to balance this out for James 'sez in his powerful book: "Faith without works is dead." Many believe that the author James was Jesus' half-brother in the flesh---

Hello, dear people, I am going to say hi to everyone and then get back to things that need doing.

Baptism is definitely for repentance, but that makes you wonder what the Lord felt He had to repent from. I believe it is a divine mystery, like salavation, which simply needs to be experienced. I felt nothing divine with baptism, but my life as a result was strictly lived within the divine realm for many many years so I believe there is definitely a correlation. I just do it all, hoping there is nothing I've missed, and am trying to get back to a place which definitely appears to have been "dispensational" and was for the moment, and why I don't know.

Other than that, I'm trying to keep as straight on the mark as I can and still live in the world like someone who does in fact have a working brain.

:)

ill be in and out, but lack of appearance does not mean lack of interest.

Also, I just don't want to get involved with anymore arguments with anyone on Earth about things of God. I believe we are supposed to love God, not argue about Him, as I'm sure everyone here agrees. That whole mess on Ask God seemed to shut down Gregor's thread, and that has made me feel badly. I guess they are back, but I'm not even going to go over there and check, or there will go another hour just catching up.

Nancy, I will of course email you in between times here.
