We depend on the monsoons. It makes our summers bearable. They usually start around July 1. We get half our yearly moisture from them. It cools things off by about 10 degrees and everything turns green. Sunflowers pop up everywhere. But....they haven't shown up yet and no sign in the forecast. Last year was a very poor monsoon season too. The ranges down here are in terrible shape right now. Waiting and hoping.

Yeah, I see its a different story your way. Funny how that can go.
